Tai Chi is sometimes described as moving meditation.  The art contains movements, which are so varied that they put into play every part of the body with harmonious design and graceful patterns.  Each form flows with the grace of a specific aspect of nature, working with nature's energy, such as the swaying motion of the willow branches being coerced by a gentle breeze or clouds slowly changing shape or form. Movements are slow and deliberate without exerting force or power.  The speed of the breathing matches the speed of the movement.

Villari's has been servicing Chittenden and Addison County since 1981 under the guidance of Laurie Shover a 9th Degree Master in Shaolin Kempo Karate and Master of Chi Kung (Qigong). We have been teaching Physical Defense to Children, Teens, and Adults individually and as entire families in the studio, at home, in schools, and the work place whenever and where ever needed. Our professional Black Belts and Master Instructors are dedicated to helping people learn the tradition of Shaolin Kempo Karate, Chi Kung, and Self-Defense.

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM    Full Body Mat Pilates - Full Body Mat Pilates
This class blends Classical Mat Pilates with elements of other  body-weight exercises and dance-style stretching. Each class will begin with full body warm up, transition into a series of full-body exercises, then conclude with some stretching.  The teacher, Acadia LaGue-Celley, is a licensed Dance and Pilates Teacher.  No fancy equipment required.  Just bring a yoga mat and water.
